This Privacy Policy covers the CaseBook marketing website at casebookmba.app (the "Website"). The CaseBook: Mini MBA iOS app is covered by a separate App Privacy Policy.

The Website is a simple, static marketing site. We designed it to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

Information you provide

The Website has no accounts and no login. If you use the support form, we collect what you enter (your name if you provide it, your email address, the topic, any device details, and your message) so we can respond. If you join the launch notification list, we collect your email address solely to tell you when the App is available. Both forms are processed by our host, Netlify, through Netlify Forms and emailed to our inbox. We use this information only to reply to you, notify you about the launch, and improve the App, and we do not sell it. To be removed from the launch list, email us and we will delete your address. If you email us directly instead, we receive the contents of that email.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs. The Website is hosted on Netlify. Like virtually all web servers, Netlify records standard request logs that may include your IP address, browser and device type (user agent), the pages requested, referring URL, and timestamps. This is used to serve the site, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
• No cookies. The Website does not set cookies and does not use browser storage to track you.
• No analytics or advertising. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics, advertising networks, pixels, or cross-site tracking. There are no advertising identifiers.
• Self-hosted fonts. Web fonts are served directly from the Website, so loading a page does not send a request to a third-party font provider.

How we use information

• To deliver the Website's pages, images, and assets to your browser.
• To keep the Website secure, reliable, and free of abuse.

We do not sell or rent any information, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Links to other services

The Website links out to third parties, most notably the Apple App Store when you choose to download the App. When you follow such a link, you leave this Website and the destination's own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for the practices of sites we link to.

Third-party services

• Netlify: hosts and delivers the Website, maintains the server logs described above, and processes support-form submissions (Netlify Forms), under its own privacy policy.
• Apple: operates the App Store that some links point to.

Your choices and rights

Because the Website does not use cookies, accounts, or analytics, there is no profile of you to access or delete. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU and UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA and CPRA), you may have rights regarding the limited technical data in server logs. To make a request or ask a question, contact us at the email below. For data held by Netlify or Apple, please also refer to their policies.

Children's privacy

The Website is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data security

The Website is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS and TLS). No method of transmission or storage is 100 percent secure, but we work to protect the limited information we handle.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
